Hand Santa-tiser is fully stocked and a thorough elf and safety check has been carried out to bring you a coronavirus-friendly Christmas experience at Fairwood Lakes.
Families will be treated to a truly magical, personal festive event that promises to be bigger and better this year.
The illuminated trail will take you and your loved ones on an enchanted journey that starts at the Elves’ Workshop in our vintage Pullman train carriage. To stay within the guidelines, your party of six will enjoy privacy on the trail which will feature more seasonal surprises along the way.
Arrive at Father Christmas’s Grotto in our winter woodland barn for a festive family experience that is exclusively yours during your booked time slot. And because the whole barn is all yours, you can enjoy a flurry of personal magic from Father Christmas who will greet you from up high in his beautiful sleigh.
The magical barn will feature a range of visual experiences for little ones and grown-ups to marvel at. It is also open at the sides to allow plenty of fresh air to circulate – so wrap up warm and rest assured that we know ho-ho-how to make your grotto experience safe yet magical.
Every child will receive a special Christmas gift and there will be takeaway food options available for purchase. The soft play will be closed but keep your ticket safe and return in January for your free family soft play pass.
Book your exclusive family experience this Christmas at Fairwood Lakes from Saturday 28th November until Christmas Eve. Group gatherings are restricted to six people, so this year we have created a number of ticket options to allow different combinations of children and adult numbers. So whether your gathering to the Grotto is one child and five adults or four children and two adults, there is a ticket option to suit the needs of your group. Family ticket prices start at £39.
Fill your Christmas with festive fun at Fairwood Lakes. Every child will receive a quality gift, delivered with a personal touch.
Open from November 28th to 24th December 2020
“In these extraordinary times, Christmas this year will be like no other. With social distancing and extra health and safety measures in place, it has been a hugely challenging time. The Fairwood Lakes team were uncertain that Santa’s Grotto would even be possible this year.
We are therefore delighted to have found a COVID-secure solution to offer you a Christmas experience in line with current Government guidelines. With many grottos closing this year, the team have been determined to create an experience so children and their families could create happy festive memories to end a challenging year.
With the significant reduction on capacity and therefore limitation on income to cover costs, we have had to revise our pricing and offering. However, we endeavour to increase the magic, add new and special touches and personalise the experience where possible. As a family business, we also take on the risk of investment to create the event and face the potential of cancellation if further restrictions are imposed before Christmas. In such circumstances, we will of course refund all tickets (excluding the admin fee).
After a thorough risk assessment, we are excited to be able to open Santa’s Grotto again in the face of adversity, offering a magical and personal experience for every family.
From us all at Fairwood Lakes, we would like to thank you as our loyal and valued customers. Your support during this turbulent time is so much appreciated, and we hope you will enjoy our upcoming Christmas season. See you soon!” Fairwood Lakes team
