Fishing Rules
- Day ticket or 24hr pass holders must adhere to the site’s 9pm Noise curfew and respect staying guests as we are a holiday park. If any anglers and spectators are found to be disrupting other guests they will be asked to leave immediately. (Activated from when you are onsite)
- No entry to the fishing lakes will be given until 8am. All day fishing are required to depart by 8pm.
- Each angler must have their own valid ticket and is per person. For example, a 3-rod ticket does not allow 3 people to fish.
- Tickets must be purchased prior to taking any equipment to the lakeside. Tickets Can be purchased using the catch app or on-site at our café/reception areas which opens from 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 10-4 Sundays, if you wish to arrive before these times, please be sure to book and pay for your ticket before arrival. (We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment).
- Valid Rod licences must be held by each person fishing and is the responsibility of the Angler over 12 years of age and is the responsibility of the angler.
- Maximum 3 rods per person at any one time (when using standard rod-pod setup)
- Vehicles must be parked in the main car park and keep to the 5mph speed limit.
- Only anglers and visitors who have booked are allowed on our ground. Any unauthorised visitors will be asked to leave immediately.
- No swimming or wading in the Lakes under any circumstances.
- The boat is strictly for use by the owner and bailiff only.
- Whilst on site you must be considerate of the property and facilities. Any damages should be reported immediately to a member of staff or the bailiff.
- Do NOT climb trees or damage/cut down bank-side vegetation.
- All litter must be removed.
- Fires are strictly forbidden.
- The management reserves the right to ask anybody not adhering to the rules to leave the site immediately and also to ban them from future bookings
Fish Care Rules
- Barbless hooks only
- Safety Lead Clip Systems to be used at all times.
- Unhooking mats and Nets to be sanitised before arrival
- Pike fishing by Lure or Dead Bait Only (No Live Baiting).
- Anglers must carry adequate equipment and be competent with landing and unhooking fish to 30lb.
- During Spawning periods anglers must comply with any request to stop angling or to fish in areas without spawning activity. As soon as activity is stopped Anglers will be invited to recommence fishing. We do not anticipate any issue from anglers to comply with this rule as it is to reduce Carp stress and prevent foul hooking at a time when they are pre-occupied and not feeding.
Restrictions
- Night fishing has a maximum period of 48 hours (2 nights), unless you are booking one of our tree huts. Please do not book more than 2x 24 hour tickets in one session as we reserve the right to cancel any bookings that do not meet these rules
- You must be over 18 years of age to night fish or stay at the lakes overnight
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult at ALL times and are not allowed to night fish.
- Dogs are allowed when day ticket fishing but must be kept on leads at ALL times, including when walking from the car park to and from the lakes.
- No pets allowed overnight
Maximum number of rods
- Maximum 3 rods per person. Please be considerate to other anglers at busy times and only cast in a straight line from your swim.
Refund Policy
- NO REFUNDS GIVEN but we will allow movement of the booking subject to conditions such as unforeseen lake closure for maintenance, and adverse weather conditions. A minimum of 48 Hours notice will be needed if you wish to move your booking
